Privacy Policy

• Account data: email address, display name, preferred currency, language and theme.
• Savings data you enter: savings entries, goals, expenses, subscriptions and their categories.
• Gamification data: XP, level, streaks, badges, challenges you join and league standing.
• Social data: friend invitations, referral codes you share and referral clicks.
• Subscription data: your SaveQuest Plus status, plan interval and PayPal subscription ID.
• Technical data: basic log information such as IP address and browser type, used for security and abuse prevention.

We do not connect to your bank, we do not import bank transactions, and we never see or store your card number, bank credentials or PayPal password. All amounts in SaveQuest are entered manually by you.

• To create and secure your account and sign you in.
• To show your dashboard, streaks, goals, insights and leaderboards.
• To process and maintain a SaveQuest Plus subscription.
• To operate the referral programme and prevent abuse.
• To fix bugs and improve the product.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your savings data for advertising targeting.

• Hosting and database: Lovable Cloud (built on Supabase) stores your account and app data.
• Payments: PayPal processes all subscription payments and holds the payment details.
• Search and performance measurement: Google Search Console receives aggregate search statistics about our public pages.

Your display name, level, streak and XP can be visible to friends and to other participants in challenges and leaderboards you join. Your email address, amounts saved, expenses, subscriptions and goals are never shown to other users.

We keep your data for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and all associated data at any time by emailing support@savequest.app from the address on your account; we action deletion requests within 30 days.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, and to object to certain processing. Contact us at support@savequest.app and we will respond within 30 days.

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember your language, theme and currency preferences. These are required for the app to work.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to measure anonymous usage — page views, installs, sign-ups and subscription events — so we can improve the app and understand which campaigns work. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives your device and approximate location data. We never send your name, email address or financial records to Google.

SaveQuest is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
